Page 18-“Hi Father! First I want to thank You so much for everything! This Morning I woke up with a renewed mind; a clean and pure heart; a restored soul and well, my body was aching but I called on Jesus and the pain went away-so a healed body! Yes Father! You did that!
I talked to You last night asking You for direction, repenting of my transgressions and praising you with a heart of thanksgiving and gratefulness and You heard me and you answered me.
It’s amazing how David’s Psalms heal my wounded soul during the most difficult spiritual battles. It’s odd that I, Your Daughter, can relate to my Brother David so much. I would think that my future Husband and David would be on the same thinking terms. But now as I dig deeper, it’s not about the mind but the heart. I have a heart after You like David did and that’s what’s relative and the most essential. The closer I get to You, the more joy, peace-calm, compassion, understanding, direction,..everything good from You, I experience-I receive.
I thank You Father for lifting the burden of me “needing to be in a relationship” “needing to be married” off my shoulders! For many years, I’ve lied. I’ve pretended. I’ve been desperate for a man. I’ve been desperately seeking love. And it’s been right here all the time!
Not forcing me to see. But allowing me to follow my own path so I have no one to blame for my experiences, lessons, failures and triumphs. You allowed me to spread my wings without clipping/chipping them.
I could not blame You or anyone else for the decisions I made. For Your Word clearly says: “But my people would not listen to me; Israel would not submit to me. So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own devices.” Psalm 81:11-12
So for years, I “followed my heart” in which Your Word also says: “He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.” Proverbs 28:26
By the time we got to those two scriptures Father, You already gave us knowledge and wisdom in Deuteronomy 28:1 “If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.”
Of course Father, You knew there were/are levels to reaching this height with You and that’s why inJob 42:12 You let us know that “The LORD blessed the latter part of Job’s life more than the first.”
See, Your Word is true and in Isaiah 55:11 You said, “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”
Later in Jeremiah 29:11 You told us “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Bonus: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
