Page 23-Today after I was done cleaning all the boogers out of my nose and sanitizing my hands, one of God’s messengers said to me “We have all fallen short of God’s glory, so don’t go around beating yourself up about things you’ve done or didn’t do. God has something great for you and it has nothing to do with your works.” Only God knows how much I needed that message.
For many years I’ve tried to do everything right because I love God so much I didn’t want to disappoint Him. That’s what love means to me: wanting to please/satisfy the ones you love.
And one day God spoke so clearly to me and told me “you will never get everything right and it’s ok.”
I realized that God has brought me through every obstacle, storm and trial that I have encountered throughout my life. And if He brought me this far, I can trust that He won’t leave me now. I believe His Word when it says “The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts.” Therefore, worrying about my future will be fruitless because if I made through my past, I don’t have to worry about my future.
