Sowing Seeds

Page 33-I used to get so irritated when an idea came to me and I did everything in my power to make the idea a reality, but failed. Nothing seems worse than giving it your all and not receiving the expected outcome.
As I matured more in God, visions became more clearer. This is when I came to understanding the process of sowing seeds. See, when seeds are planted, they don’t grow when we want them to. They grow in their appropriate seasons.
We know that in order for a seed to grow, it needs a location, dirt/soil, water, sun and shelter from dangers. We must also remember it needs time. Time to mature. Time to reach its destination through its growing phases. Time to give others a chance/opportunity to explore its purpose and significance.
When God has instilled something of value within, there are levels of comprehension before manifestation can take place. Because God knows that a pig would have no idea what to do with pearls. Therefore, the seed that has been sown must be cultivated and developed enough to withstand any and all seasons, not just the season that causes its maturity. But also the storm, hurricane, tornado, volcano, drought, turbulence seasons as well.
The most important season for a seed to survive in though, is the patience season. This is the season when we’ve done all of the sowing necessary to plant the seed and now we await to see the fruits of our labor as we continue to sow other seeds.
Remember, the work is plenty but the laborers are few. Keep sowing your seeds of today for the fruit for tomorrow.
